The Chapter opens up with Seonhu meeting up with John Clark as they have caught another awakener. John says that the situation got out of hand, so he decided to contact him to handle it, but Seonhu beheads the awakener before he can finish his sentence.

John gets startled, but Seonhu isn’t get affected by it because he has been chasing after this man for 3 and a half years.

Seonhu asks John if all their agents are okay because an awakener must have resisted hard in the end. John says that he did resist, but he still wasn’t able to do anything about being sniped. Seonhu says that he will give John a billion dollars through any method of his liking, but John gets a bit worried about his safety.

Seonhu immediately recalls Mick’s report to him, which states that John has been acting suspiciously lately.

Seonhu promises John that he will be safe and that he’ll also get a billion extra. Seonhu thinks that John probably would have thought of eliminating him and Yeonhee to take over all the real estate along with the white water company.

Seonhu and John meet in a secluded area surrounded by bunkers. John offers a cigarette to Seonhu, but he refuses; suddenly, John starts trembling, and Seonhu strikes him down using Odin’s wrath.

Several snipers pointed at Seonhu get scared after seeing such a horrifying thing. Seonhu turns around to ask them to stay quiet and leave the area.

The focus then shifts to Cheney arriving in Iraq for yet joining yet another battle. Cheney thinks that he would have left all this a long time ago if it wasn’t for his child’s medical bills.

Cheney’s superior says that due to Cheney’s achievements so far, they have decided to give him a better offer. The Superior hands over an offer letter to Cheney, which would act as his permit to a secret place for handling dangerous goods. Cheney then gets taken to a secret place that houses all the awakener equipment called “Cat’s feed”.

The focus shifts to Seonhu and Yeonhee entering a D-rank dungeon. Yeonhee uses the quest item “Child who abhors pestilence,” but the creature born from it suddenly flies away.

Seonhu senses a monster approaching Yeonhee and immediately kills it even though it is using stealth. Seonhu wonders if the quest item was trying to test them before the real quest began.

The Creature then flies deep inside the dungeon, and so Seonhu asks Yeonhee to follow it along with him. He also warns Yeonhee to always be on guard because this is an S-Rank quest connected to “Doom Entergausto”.
