During its panel at New York Comic Con, Crunchyroll announced that it will have exclusive streaming rights for the anime Kaiju No. 8. The anime will be available with Japanese audio and English subtitles, as well as an English dub, starting in spring 2024. Kaiju No. 8, based on Naoya Matsumoto’s manga, will premiere in April 2024. The manga is licensed by Viz Media, who releases it digitally and physically, while Shueisha publishes it on the MANGA Plus service under the title Monster #8. The story follows a man who, working a job far from his childhood dreams, becomes a monster and strives to fulfill his lifelong dream.
The anime adaptation of Tow Ubukata’s Bye Bye, Earth novel will air on the WOWOW subscription television channel in Japan and also be available for streaming on Crunchyroll in over 200 countries and territories. The story takes place in a world of anthropomorphic animals and follows Belle Lablac, the only human, as she sets out on a journey to find her roots.
Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf, based on Isuna Hasekura’s light novel series, will premiere in 2024. The series follows a traveling merchant named Kraft Lawrence who encounters a wolf goddess named Holo and strikes up a deal for her assistance in increasing his profits.
The Unwanted Undead Adventurer, based on Yū Okano’s light novel series, will debut in 2024. It tells the story of Rentt Faina, an adventurer who, after encountering a legendary dragon, wakes up as a skeleton and embarks on a quest for existential evolution.
7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!, based on Tо̄ko Amekawa and Wan Hachipisu’s light novel series, will premiere in 2024. The protagonist, Rishe, finds herself reborn multiple times and must break the time loop to achieve her extravagant dreams.
Sengoku Youko, based on Satoshi Mizukami’s manga, will premiere in January 2024. The anime will have two arcs and run for three cours, presenting a complete adaptation of the story that follows Tama, a monster who protects humans despite her own kind’s prejudice.
The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil, based on Sawayoshi Azuma’s manga, will premiere in 2024. The story revolves around Masatora Akutsu, a demon recruiting allies for Hell, who finds himself drawn to the captivating Lily Amane.
